Meet the Recruitment & Welfare Team
Lindsey Brunton - Overseas Recruitment & Staff Welfare Manager
- I started with Canvas in 1991, working in various departments including Operations, Sales, Customer Service and UK HR. I left Canvas in October 2005 but returned in January 2009 to head up the recruitment and staff welfare team.
- Prior to Canvas, I worked overseas for Thomson Holidays in Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Israel, Morocco and Tunisia.
- My main responsibility is to ensure that the Recruitment and Welfare team get the right people in the right place at the right time. We will then do everything we can to support our overseas staff to ensure that that they have a successful and enjoyable season, which should impact on our customers. Happy Couriers make Happy Customers!
Positive points about working under Canvas are that you will find it hard to find such a friendly, committed and professional group of people to work with, both overseas and in the UK. Working on-site, you will be surprised at how much you will learn about yourself and other people and will gain important life skills which will prove invaluable in the future, whatever you chose to do after Canvas.
